Leah Garmon was a success in many areas of her life. She was a devoted wife and mother of three children, and she enjoyed a career as a wardrobe consultant for twenty-five years. She also was a member of her church’s benevolence committee, and was committed to sharing her faith and hope, helping those less fortunate, mentoring young women, and visiting others who were fighting cancer.
When Leah was diagnosed with breast cancer, her drive for success and her faith became even more valuable to her. “See your beauty through God’s eyes,” she said. Leah died in August 2002 at the age of forty-nine.
